    • Due to size/weight of this product, calculated shipping costs will not appear in checkout.  Please Contact Us for shipping cost quotation.  Once order has been placed online, we will send you an additional invoice for shipping costs.
    • TRANSMISSION – If you are running transmission other than STOCK Transmission, we will send you the kit without the Driveshaft.  Once the kit is installed, please provide us with a measurement from the car and we will build the driveshaft and sent to you as soon as possible.

    The DSS 9″ Conversion Kits are designed for use with the STRANGE HD PRO Aluminium Bolt-Thru Case and Pinion Support Kit (P3203).  If you are using a centre section from a different manufacturer, modifications may be necessary, and ANY modifications to the housing or front mount may void the warranty.  We cannot guarantee fitment for any centre section – other than the Strange 5-bolt unit.

    Powder coated Pro-Formed 9” Differential Housing complete with proprietary brackets
    Bolt on front mount
    Magnetic drain plug
    35 spline 1800 HP rated 9” Differential axle stubs, fitted with double sealed O-Ring bearings
    1400 + HP Custom 300M large centre bar axles with Pro-Level 300M Races and billet 4340 CV cages – REM polished internals
    4″ Aluminium Driveshaft or 3.8″ Carbon Fibre Driveshaft using a CV in the front and a 1350 rear flange.
    All necessary hardware needed to complete the installation

    Description:

    The Pro-Level Axles and Hubs are made using custom-built REM polished internals, along with a Porsche style 930 inner CV. We have made the internals of these CV’s to fit the larger centre bar, which is the strongest tested part on the market today, that is used in almost every 9,8,7 and even 6 second IRS record breaking car globally.

    Our 4″ Aluminium or 3.8″ Carbon Fibre Driveshaft upgrade, using a 1350 rear and a front CV capable of 6000 ft lbs. of torque. These newer cars are uni-body and have most of the components bolted directly to the floor, so a real high-speed balance is needed. Our CV driveshafts are balanced on our custom-made 9500 RPM balancer. Most balancing machines can only spin a shaft from 400 RPM-3000 RPM, although these are good machines, they do not see the unique problems that the modern muscle car presents.
